I remember reading a story about a week ago that said “the Rams wouldn’t dare cut Sam out of fear that another team would pick him up.” I wondered...why would the Rams care if another team picked him up if the Rams cut him. Well, I guess it doesn’t matter any way...
The Rams wouldn’t care if another team picks up a player they cut. Teams cut players and pick up new ones on waivers or as free agents all the time. As the season goes on, injuries happen, some players just aren’t productive and get cut, etc. Its all part of the game.
We see all this attention on Sam due to homosexuality.
