The Cunningham was home ported in Long Beach which had a huge Naval Base at that time. Today it is a container ship port.
I believe that the Buckly was out of SD.
Yes, the Buckley was out of SD, and Long Beach had several DD’s home ported there in the late 60’s and early 70’s.
