Not sure about the sidebar issue. I'm using Firefox on a Win8 'puter. Holding the "Cntrl" button and pressing the "plus ➕" or "minus " keys helps sometimes with sites that are the wrong size . I seem to have the problem after I mess with display settings

Add a new bookmark to the bookmark toolbar and put the following in it as the URL:
javascript: document.body.querySelector('.sb').style.width = '20%';void 0
When you are on the page, click the bookmark, and the sidebar should shrink from 30% of the page width to 20%.
