In the last 6 months, 37,477 illegal immigrant kids released, only 280 deported

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to learn that during the last 6 months, 99% of illegal alien minors who snuck across the border have been released.

How can this be? Our president, who never tells a lie, said many times that the illegal kids couldn't stay, that they would be sent home.

Instead, it appears that the president misspoke. Or was misunderstood. Or Republicans have twisted his words.

Washington Examiner:

The Obama administration has released a huge majority of illegal immigrant children who poured over the U.S.-Mexico border earlier this year into dozens of tony counties without notifying the public, while deporting just 280, according to new reports.

The Health and Human Services Department released a list of 126 counties 29,890 of the kids were placed into, sometimes with their parents who are also in the United States illegally.

Those counties include some of the most exclusive in the nation, including the Washington suburbs of Fairfax and Loudoun in Virginia and Howard and Montgomery in Maryland. Fairfax received 1,023.

Why would HHS let on to where they are dumping all those healthy, well behaved kids? Seems like they would rather ‘surprise’ us come the first day of school.

After all, we're only lowly Americans, unworthy of the privilege we've all inherited at birth.

How stupid do you have to be deported under these conditions?

The ones deported were probably ones worth keeping, good skills, morals, etc...

I miss the rule of law. I wonder how the far left will react when they discover that FedGov has lost whatever semblance of legitimacy they once possessed.

To be absolutely honest about it... They. Don't. Care!

So long as the lawbreaking is being done by one of their's it is of no concern. The presumption is that their guy is simply doing what he has to do to achieve the left's agenda -- an objective far more important than maintaining the integrity of the Constitution which, more often than not, is simply an obstacle to their goals.

The Left doesn't give a whit for the Constitution -- except as their lawyers can tie up the courts on questions about the First, Second and Fourth Amendments.

I agree that democrats don't care about the Constitution in terms of following it themselves, but they count on decent people to be bound by the rule of law. In the absence of FedGov legitimacy, they will find that they have lost their main source of power over us. That would worry them if they were capable of logical thought, since they need productive people willingly giving up their production in order to allow them to redistribute wealth. How else could they buy votes and power?
