Members of the Islamic State and their sympathizers have also tweeted about their love for Disney movies and Robin Williams. The posts are part of a social media campaign meant to point out the humane side of the terrorist group that ruthlessly executed an American journalist earlier this week.
Apparently the coldblooded terrorists who savagely beheaded a kidnapped American journalist have a sweet tooth.
In an attempt to seem friendly and humane, Islamic State militants — the terrorist group that executed James Foley earlier this week — and their supporters have posted images of themselves holding jars of Nutella.
The bizarre, sugary photos are part of a larger social media campaign meant point out similarities between the fighters and Westerners, the Wall Street Journal explained. Fighters in ISIS-held Iraq and Syria posed with the jars of chocolate-hazelnut spread because it's a familiar treat to Europeans and Americans. In another attempt to strike a connection with the West, ISIS fighters also tweeted about their love for parts of American pop culture.
When legendary comedian Robin Williams died, one ISIS sympathizer tweeted his condolences and mentioned how much he liked the actor's "Jumanji" movie. Another once mentioned his appreciation for Disney films, the newspaper reported.
Earlier this summer, ISIS fighters and their backers began tweeting photos of their kittens — another move to appear "normal," VICE News reported.

But the innocent dessert and cat photos stand in sharp contrast to the gruesome execution video the group posted earlier this week.
On Tuesday, ISIS uploaded footage to YouTube showing the brutal beheading of American James Foley. A masked fighter explained the 40-year-old was executed as retaliation for the U.S.'s airstrike campaign against terrorists in Iraq.
ISIS fighters and their sympathizers have also used social media to recruit more fighters and threaten attacks.
The U.S. government urged local police to be on high alert for possible homegrown terror after one apparent ISIS account tweeted photos of the terrorists' flag in front of the White House and in Chicago. The photos were accompanied by a cryptic message warning America that "We are in your state. We are in your cities. We are in your streets."

these stupid nutella pics are their way of smacking us mentally. but half the yahoos in the west will now view them like cuddly little bunnies. Or it could be a signal of where they might be heading for an attack.
We should specially prepare some jars blended with pig fat and arsenic and air drop them.
Cold blooded sociopath killers have day jobs too. They do most of the normal things we all do during a day. Work, play, see movies, eat Nutella.
They just ALSO have no inhibition that prevents them from killing people, sawing heads off etc...
Evil people aren’t movie evil. It’s not like they spend 24/7 doing evil things every second. They have to take potty breaks, eat and sleep like the rest of us.
This is where liberal thinking breaks down. They’ll look at an image like this and be quite literally UNABLE to mentally reconcile that these people can BOTH shop a supermarket for Nutella AND cut a child’s head off 30 minutes later.
They will mentally lock up. Try it sometime. Show a liberal a picture like that and give them this hypothetical situation: Tell them that the guy in the pic has killed 30 people in the last week with a knife. Then while they look at it ask them what we should do about that guy.
They will be UNABLE to answer.
I don’t know how we can survive with that type of reaction.
I thought once they convert, they aren’t supposed to kill them?
The sad part if that they’re just brainwashed young boys. What hell their lives must be, but what hell they’d like to inflict upon us!

What if it’s some sort of cryptic insult that we don’t understand? Or some ‘in joke’ between terrorists? What if it contains a clue as to their next devastating attack on the U.S.

This is an age-old trick used by these sadistic monsters. They did it in every era. It all comes down to what they want to do at that moment. In order to secure surrender, they make all kinds of promises they have no intention of keeping.
Another recent/today example. Do you imagine that those 150 Syrian Army guys all surrendered after being told they would be humiliated/stripped, marched barefoot, and then slaughtered?
Hell no. They were promised their lives if the did the correct Shahada prayer and swore allegience etc. Once disarmed and secured, the slaughter begins.
OTOH, if the victors need slave labor, they can keep them alive for that IF THEY WANT TO.
