UPDATE: Alicia Marie Englert, 24, gave birth to the baby on Sunday. Police say the newborn had not received any medical care or food.

Investigators say they learned through the investigation that Englert threw the baby into the trash can. A Probable Cause statement filed by police stated "the birth mother was afraid to tell her parents about her pregnancy. She said she discarded the baby in hopes that it would die and solve her problems."

Dead eyes. Like a doll’s eyes.

Sorry, maybe she is but she doesn’t look “disabled” to me. She just looks like she has a seared conscience.

In a case like that, the family needs to keep control of the situation.

Someone here dropped the ball... and of course, society at large will be blamed.

It will be made out that it is YOUR fault and MY fault...or the government’s fault.

Families have disintegrated.... and it is OUR fault? NOT!

You see, there is a great deal to be said for traditional families... and THIS is a perfect example of what a proper family IS and why a proper family matters to all concerned.

That was the first thing I thought of. She’s not some little teenager. Used to be a time when a 24-year-old was an adult, probably married with a kid or two. Now they’re children, scared of their parents?

You could be right. None of us knows more than what’s given in the article, and one can’t be sure that’s all accurate.
