Sorry to disappoint you, but Salvation comes from accepting Jesus as your Savior. It has nothing to do with being or not being a certain kind of person. There are many Muslims who have given up Islam by finding the truth about Jesus.

Actually, people don't kill themselves in war over myths.
There seems to be a built in or hardwired need for God/gods in humans since the beginning of recorded history. Hence the relative ease with which some huckster can convince them that he has the way.

Islam is a lot less theologically complex than your questions seem to indicate. The whole idea comes from a single line of text in the Koran, and there is no elaboration on the idea after that.
Islamic “scholars” have of course taken it upon themselves to expound on the idea, but mostly they seem to simply debate the exact number of virgins that will be provided, as there is some controversy on that point due to possible copying errors.
Once a virgin has slept with a martyr, do they go on to a productive afterlife, or do they cease to exist?....Ahh, Grasshopper. The virgin loses her hymen after sleeping with the murderous barbarian and he goes on to find the next one. The Holy Koran says only the Martyr goes to Heaven. The despoiled virgin is rejuvenated with a new hymen. Follow the logic: 72 = 9 x 8 and 6 x 12
9 - 8 = 1 and 8 - 6 = 2
2 - 2 = 00 and 2 x 1 = 11
Put it all together and you get 9/11/2001.
