There is no doubt that is a thigh bone, not a rock. And as other posters have noted, there is a foot print on top of it and an arrowhead next to it. We know our government lies to us.

Actually it really does look like a bone with a spearhead next to it. We might hope that the rover could move them and get some better pics of these rocks.
