What sets these two cases apart from all the rest?
To have riots, White House intervention, Eric Holder's involvement, etc. Something about these two cases that doesn't seem special on the surface has somehow become special.
What is it?
How did these incidents achieve almost instant nation-wide attention?
Police officers get killed, innocent citizens get killed, criminals kill each other, criminals get killed by innocent citizens and/or police officers defending themselves, etc.
Why are these two cases (Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown) flashpoints?
Is there a common link?
Could it be that the families sensed the opportunity to make some big bucks out of their sorrow -- and that Benjamin Crump and his PR guru, Ryan Julison, had proven experience in converting this opportunity into cash?
The racial aspect is a given; their youth engenders more sympathy for the families; and, that both locations were in southern and red states adds to the politics. And anything to distract from Obama’s disasters is a huge incentive to blow the local events out of proportion.
In the 25 years that I worked for a fire department in a city known for its crime problems I went to several people who died as a result of police actions and sometimes incompetence. There was no malice in any of the situations... the police didn't mean to kill any of them.
A lot of people who are high on drugs or drunk or both overexert their generally overweight out of shape bodies and have some type of cardiac event. Another common problem is the choke hold; the police cut off the blood to someones brain who is struggling with them for a little too long and they don't come back. Tasers kill more people than is generally acknowledged.
The other big one... is the police handcuff some big fat guy whose arms will barely go around his back, and then they leave him lying on his face and a few minutes later discover that he has suffocated.
Every one of the dead people related to police activity that we tried bring back was struggling and causing a lot of trouble for the police before their untimely demise. I personally have had difficulty holding down 100 pound women with six other guys. They scream, kick, punch, bite, spit and seem to have super human strength... it is absolutely amazing. No one who hasn't struggled with a crazy person has a clue how difficult it can be to restrain a psycho without hurting them or getting hurt yourself.
Last Christmas we responded to a drunk woman who was fighting with her neighbors. We were having difficulty calming her down so I called on the radio for police backup. I got a radio call back a few minutes later and the dispatcher said the police wanted to know why we needed them. I was just starting to think we had the situation under control, but as I started to fumble with my radio I took my eyes off her for just a second. She took the opportunity to punch me in the eye.
By the time the police arrived we had her calmed down and the police again wanted to know why we asked for them. My eye was starting swell a little. I didn't care about having her arrested for that, but I told them I thought we would probably be back if we just turned her loose. So a police officer started politely asking her questions. It looked like maybe we were just going to leave her when all of a sudden she went berserk and attacked the police officer and bit him on the arm hard enough to break his skin. Needless to say she was difficult to restrain but she did live through the ordeal.
The answers is they are both “The Great White Defendant”, which Tom Wolfe coined in “Bonfire of the Vanities”.

[[Trayvon, Mike Brown: What made these cases special?]]
The pigment pushing main stream media and a racist leadership and ilk running this country- that’s what

Barack-Americans and Holder’s people (morons and racists).

The saddest, most frightening thing in this article is that forty percent of blacks have an IQ of 81 or below. That’s REALLY stupid. If you are ever talking to a person that dumb, it’s very, very obvious.
well if you’ve got an answer KJC1 let’s hear it.
Lies.
Bingo!
It's namely very difficult finding a case of a 35-year-old Black man dying in a confrontation with a LEO in which the Black man doesn't already have a lengthy criminal record, which "spoils" the narrative.
In the case of Black teenagers - besides the obvious appeal of a youthful appearance - there is at least the hope that they still have a clean slate - or, rather, have been involved in only a few assaults, burglaries, robberies, etc.
Regards,
Police brutality isn’t what happened in Ferguson.
That said, if you don’t recognize the increasing tyranny of the police state, you’re not paying very much attention. And if you equate such recognition by conservatives with 1960’s liberals fighting “the man,” you’re in for a rude awakening when the power of the police state is used against you and yours.
It’s coming. Count on it.
Propagandists and politicians amplify an agenda. The masses are moved. Truth is trampled. Deceivers “divide and govern”. They live to lie another day. Unaccountable criminals. Laughing, looting their way to the next “event”. Holding lip-biting, purse-lipped, furrowed-brow press conferences. Psyop optics.
It’s called a controlled event. Did you watch the video of former Border Patrol Officer Zach Taylor?
Just like they’re using the invasion at the border, the progressives are using these incidents to implement their agenda - not drive their agenda - but implement their agenda.
They’re beyond selling a narrative to nudge people in a particular direction. They’ve completed the nudging. Now it’s time to act. That’s what this is about.
You all forgot the articles about the DOJ organizing protests in the early days of the Trayvon Martin case....before George Zimmerman was found to be Hispanic, not white.
We will find the same in Ferguson, with the DOJ playing a behind the scenes role in the early days to create unrest.
Our government has turned against us.
You'd best be ready!
Yes there is, and you know what it is as well as I do.
The media coverage.
You don't really believe that, do you?
