Yes, I think there are some on here who are ready to jump to conclusions when it comes to religion and think the worst. Of course there are some churches that claim to be Christian but water it down and co-opt the tenets of Christianity in order to be politically correct. Keller isn’t one of them. And yes - Manhattanites are probably the toughest crowd. I attended one service and was very surprised to find that there is a very large Asian crowd, at least in the upper East side campus - yes, it is so large that they have 4 different campuses - which is truly amazing. I think the reason is, Keller is very intelligent, urbane, funny, and also very passionate about the Gospel. And he speaks the truth - so that even jaded New Yorkers are attracted by it.
