Some of those people I did know were partly of black descent. Carol Channing, I admit, is a surprise. And I did not know Rashida Jones’s mother was Peggy Lipton, what a cool mom to have. (Also did not know Peggy Lipton was Jewish - so this was a pretty informative post thank you for it!)
I must also say that several of these people could appear on another list: celebrities I’ve never heard of and even when you tell me who they are I still don’t know.
If Peggy Lipton’s her mother, doesn’t that mean Booker T is her father? And that’s even cooler.
