Naples, Florida is a wonderful place to visit, as is Anna Maria island. Do you like the ocean? It’s beautiful on the gulf coast, and there are many older people there. You wouldn’t feel at all out of place.
I'm a single older woman too. My goto place is the West coast of FLORIDA. Naples is wonderful, rather quiet. still safe and demographically OK. Republican, with a Tea Party group too. I've also enjoyed Sarasota. You could do both on one vacation. I like traveling alone. Found it easy to connect with people in both places, especially Naples.

Always someone to talk to , plus owners give good advice on appropriate local attractions. I like the safety of being even loosely connected to locals , just in case.
Well if you’d like to spend it with a recently single older freeper man you’d be welcome to visit central TN and have some wild turkey smoked on the grill. I’ve got a guest room and indoor plumbing. : )
Although the Virgin Islands or Key West sound nicer. I’m at odds for the holidays myself.
