I just hope that at some point, real bullets aren’t needed. Not because I’m an inherent humanitarian, I just believe that the ferals are just waiting for a moment to escalate the entire situation.

The Dellwood Market was never on fire, that was wrong info from local media. Looters did break into it again last though. 2nd time for the store owner since this all started.

Well it is easy to call it a police state when the thugocracy sends in rioters and the ten-a-mob from Chicago and anywhere else they can find.
You have rioters burning stores, car jacking people, beating people, drinking on the streets and generally behaving in a lawless manner. Would you just say oh well let them have their feelings and let them ‘protest’. This is exactly the kind of crap that happened in the late 60s and early 70s as well as at the anarchists swarming of Seattle. It is lawless in the extreme. What would be your response?

Mine was more commentary about the media’s desire to make the guard and the police look bad.... not specifically directed to you (sorry for the confusion). The thugocracy I speak of is the Chicago style politics that O and his group have brought about.
In 1968 in Chicago during the democrat convention the likes of Bill Ayers and Abbie Hoffman threw rocks and molotv cocktails and general abused the police and ignored any directions what so ever. Then when the police moved on the ‘protestors’ the media reacted (as they are here) saying what horrible people the police are.
I know there is a contingent here at FR that dis the police very chance they get. I am not one of those. There aren plenty of hard working good guys out there that wear the uniform. They keep us a little bit less likely to devolve into anarchy..... at least for now
