The saga of University of California, Santa Barbara feminist studies professor Mireille Miller-Young has taken yet another bizarro twist after her defenders urged a judge to excuse the criminal allegations against her because of the “cultural legacy of slavery.”
Miller-Young pleaded no contest last month to misdemeanor counts of battery, theft and vandalism after she rallied up a small gaggle of female vigilantes and attacked abortion protesters Thrin Short, 16, and Joan Short, 21.
UCSB history professor Paul Spikard charged in his letter to Judge Hill that Miller-Young has been the victim of “an energetic smear campaign that seems to have little to do with her person or her actions, and a great deal to do with fomenting racial hatred and rallying right-wing political sentiment.”
“It would be tragic if Dr. Miller-Young were sentenced to jail time or mandatory anger management classes based on the press’ portrayal of her as an Angry Black Woman,” Spikard wrote.
Miller-Young, who specializes in queer theory, black film and pornography, apparently failed to mention either “racial hatred” or “right-wing political sentiment” when she speaking to police about the event in Marc just after it initially happened.
Another professor, Eileen Boris of UCSB’s feminist studies department, urged the judge in the case to be lenient...
“If she appears smiling on camera, she is ‘wearing the mask,’ that is, she is hiding her actual state through a strategy of self-presentation that is a cultural legacy of slavery.”
Slavery was abolished in the United States about 110 years before Miller-Young was born.

These leftist reprobate “professors” are among the most disgusting subhumans on earth. The really sick thing is that taxpayers pay their salaries as they spew their nonsense. Even sicker is that these degenerate-mind “professors” believe what they spew. Any parent worth their salt will never support these professors by paying for their children to attend universities where these degenerates squat. Alumni of these schools should withhold supportive funding and send a note to the school explaining that.
Yeah, keeping children from being slaughtered is akin to owning and using people as property. If anything, it’s women who abort who are slave masters. They refuse to acknowledge a child in the womb as its own person. They claim that it’s “their body” to do with as they choose. Just as slave masters claim that their slaves are “their property” to do with as they choose. These idiots love to compare themselves to the victims of atrocities, yet are, in truth, the aggressors in the situation. The plight of rape victims and slaves should not be theirs to exploit so that they can keep their vaunted and convoluted sense of freedom by avoiding responsibility and consequences.

This is the level of argument you can expect when you hand out doctorates for study in “ disciplines” which are of no perceptible value - all in the quest of opening “ advanced” degrees to the uneducable.

Universities are just jobs programs to employ useless human beings like this woman. Is there anything good that can come out of a queer gender black porn professor’s class? How can anyone justify elevating such a rediculous course of studies with medicine, engineering, or science?
I read this months ago and could not believe it. She is nuts and the students are, too. No wonder hey can not get jobs!
According to Miller-Young’s supporters, she was also acting “irrationally” due to the fact that she WAS 3 months pregnant at the time of the incident and the sign triggered a “traumatic” effect in her where she just had to react.
So a few questions, then: if she is, as she claims, “queer” then how did that pregnancy occur and more importantly, what happened to that pregnancy?
And in CA the taxpayers are paying a hefty price for this woman’s wages and pension. They are also subsidizing the students studying this crap and will continue to do so after they graduate because most of them will not be employable.
