Rubbing alcohol will kill the itch.
Make a small amount of paste composed of baking soda and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Totally benign, unlike many other “home remedies”; cheap, too. Apply as needed. Should take 3-4 apps first day, 1-2 the next 2 days, then . . . itch gone.
