If a student my son knows were to be killed by the police in the town where they attend school (the police there are VERY rough), we would NOT allow our son to hit the streets in protest no matter what. And, we would not join him in that protest. We would not allow him to tear up someone else's property because he was angry about the death and neither would we as parents. So, what is wrong with this picture? The people involved in the rioting in Ferguson, Missouri clearly don't have a value system of any kind nor do they do they have any respect for rule of law.

I'll agree with half that. People used the death of the young man as an excuse to loot and pillage and that is inexcusable. But to criticize people for peacefully protesting when they believe an injustice has been done? I see nothing wrong with that and I applaud them for taking their stand and making their feelings known. If we cannot protest our government when we believe they are in the wrong then we forfit our First Amendment rights.

If the people in Ferguson were wrong in peacefully assembling to oppose what they see is an injustice on the part of the law then wouldn't the same be true of those who rallied to support Cliven Bundy?

Enough of this drivel! Enough of it! We now have surveillance video showing Michael Brown robbing and shoving a store clerk just prior to the shooting. We have pictures showing no back wounds and now know the "witness" was lying. All of this is so stupid.

The protesters who were burning things down and destroying property should have been shot dead. No apologies. It is becoming obvious that when the policeman stopped him he obviously thought he was going to be arrested and started fighting and went after the office. The officer was injured in the incident. It is time to settle a lot of these matters once and for all. A lot of people need a major attitude adjustment. Either we have the right attitude established or let the other side win and establish Haiti here.

Weariness from arguing with ignorant people sets in. People get the kind of government they deserve. Also, to populate is to govern. With a large population of idiots, we now are beginning to get idiot leadership.
