Disproportionate based on what? The number of blacks and “hispanics” in jail for shoplifting?
Hmm. Wonder if they were shoplifting at rates far greater than their percentage of the store’s customer base?
The Amish know that with Holder heading the DOJ they are apt to get away with any lawsuit targeting businesses or institutions in general. After all, Holder is picky when he decides what groups to prosecute.

Reminds me of a suit a few years ago against a major drug store chain. They were sued for “profiling” and discrimination because they kept there jerry curl under lock and key and you needed a clerk to bring it up to the register for you. They did this because every month, they would lose at least half the product to shoplifting. Now I am going to go out on a limb here, but there is only a certain “community” that uses the jerry curl product.
Well, what about the percentage of those committing the crimes?
Sometimes racial profiling is based on logic and statistical evidence. It doesn't typically happen in a vacuum.
Who knew Civil Rights laws included the right for non-Whites to commit crimes with impunity ?
Same will happen with Barneys. Eventually either retail prices will skyrocket or the ‘going out of business’ sign will be in the window.
