At the start of this, I said one of the hallmarks of this administration has been to get it wrong, and then to double down on it.
Now, we are going from "our superiorly educated people can handle it using the prescribed protocols" (because, somehow doctors and health care workers *over there*, despite being trained worldwide are considered somehow inferior), to the 'our protocols are fine, the HCW screwed up'.
Another hallmark of this administration:
Whatever happened (unexpectedly), it was some other someone's fault.
The administration has messed up, and they will never admit it.
They did not halt the issuance of visas to people from outbreak countries.
The PPE protocols they have called for got doctors infected there, and now medical personnel are getting infected here. The individual healthcare workers will be blamed.
The virus does not care what the CDC or anyone else says, it just replicates when it gets the chance. It will continue to do what it does until denied the opportunity.

This isn’t “messed up”. This is according to PLAN.
