I just was checking who is doing the Ebola testing for the hospitals and came across this blogpost from August 4th.

NYC HOSPITAL TESTING PATIENT FOR EBOLA

The hospital says the patient has been placed in strict isolation and is undergoing medical screenings to determine the cause of his symptoms. “All necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all patients, visitors and staff. We will continue to work closely with federal, state and city health officials to address and monitor this case, keep the community informed and provide the best quality care to all of our patients,” the hospital wrote in a statement.

Mt. Sinai is following what the Center for Disease Control recommended last week when they sent a Health Alert to doctors and hospitals.

Testing for Ebola is done at the CDC. According to a CDC spokesperson testing for Ebola takes 1-2 days after they receive the samples. The primary testing is PCR. This is performed on blood that has been treated to kill and live virus. So far CDC has tested samples from around 6 people who had symptoms consistent with Ebola and a travel history to the affected region.

ABC News’ Dr. Richard Besser cautions, “Many things cause fever and gastrointestinal symptoms. The steps they are taking are wise given the travel history, but nothing about the symptoms is specific to Ebola.”

Besides the CDC testing info, the messaging is identical to what is being published in Dallas.

What is not identical is a CDC team flying out to the affected with the test result. That didn’t happen with any of the six others.

The CDC is too spread out from West Africa and the EV-D68 outbreak to waste talent and resources on anything of non-vital.

I understand. I knew the test was positive for the CDC to travel there. They are going to control the messaging and narrative.

CDC confirms first Ebola case diagnosed in US

Well, it isn't "there" now, it's "here". I wonder how many others are infected?

I'm not sure who posted this link previously.

EXERCISE: STABLE PHANTOM

C001:Ebola is most likely to enter the US through one of the following primary International Airports: (JFK) JFK New York, NY; (EWR) Liberty, Newark NJ; (ATL) Hartsfield Atlanta, GA; (MIA) Miami International, Miami FL; (ORD) O’hare Chicago IL; (DTW) Detroit MI; (DFW) Dallas/Ft. Worth TX. DTW and DFW are the most likely because flight costs are less to these ports of entry (lower landing fees = more use by 3rd world airlines) than JFK or ATL, for instance. However, it doesn’t appear that any additional monitoring is done at DFW or DTW; in fact, it has been my experience flying into/out of DTW going to Japan and Australia that their staff are poorly trained, and that key positions are understaffed, creating a substantial primary risk by increasing the probability of a failure to detect a carrier entering the US.

I am implementing my plan. Closure of my property begins in 72 hours. Daughter and granddaughter packing to come home. Just heard that the infected man went to an ER, was sent home and returned a day later. Only then was the man admitted.

God help us all.

Listening to the official press conference, that’s where the official said the Ebola patient presented to an ER, was sent home, returned the next day and only then was admitted.

CDC news conference...

The patient arrived 24 Sept from Africa. He reported to the emergency room sick on the 27th. Was sent home.

Then arrived again the next day (28th Sept)and was finally admitted.

So, he was symptomatic two times in Texas Health Presby Emergency room.

So, he was symptomatic two times in Texas Health Presby Emergency room.

He went to a different hospital on the 26th and was discharged. He exposed quite a few health care workers and support staff.
