i can just vision the long lines of really dumb people and crickets lining up,even around the block to see this boring movie.
Why do you think this movie will be boring? I’ve seen the trailers in the theatre twice, and it looks like a really fun evening. Oprah helped fund it. She’s not in it.
Helen Mirren is priceless and her Indian co-stars are very good actors. The premise is charming and very human.
Why is everyone so down on this movie? This is not the first thread I’ve seen deriding it.
It looks harmless enough from the tv ads.
It’s a movie about FOOD! Since I can’t cook but am addicted to Food Network and all the Gordon Ramsey shows on Fox, I’m tempted to see this movie, but will probably watch it on TV at some point.
I can’t get too excited about Oprah producing it, I’m sure she “produces” lots of things.
I can see not wanting to see it and give her money thereby, but people are acting like this movie is some really nefarious thing, I just don’t get that.
Unless Michelle Obama thinks it’s great, then I’m out!
