Unlike some who are quite happy to pay "taxes" to their lord and master, and happily worship at the feet of the Won.
I recall reading so many years ago when there was a huge slave revolt, but some slaves preferred to remain in their chains in bondage, in return for their 'security' and 'safety'.
I would repeat the oft-quoted saying (paraphrasing) 'May your chains rest lightly upon ye, and may history forget you were ever our brethren'...
-But I am not as kind.
