Seriously, the PC brigade won’t stop once they get the Redskins’ scalp on their wall.
So many nicknames are offensive in one way or another, if we are going down that road.
What nicknames are not offensive? Washington Nationals? New York Mets?
If they get the Redskins to change their name, they will move on to the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Black Hawks, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Braves, etc.
I keep expecting Dan Snyder to make an announcement on April 1, renaming the team to something patently offensive. . .
