To: Political Junkie Too
I'm amazed that a thriving city like Houston keeps electing her as their representative. How much better off might they be if they were to send someone else to Congress to represent them?

Ever see the outline of her district? Talk about an affirmative action gerrymandered district.

Yes. Not just hers, but the two to the south of Houston, too. They are majority African-American-Hispanic districts, even though those aren't the people who contribute to the city. Who works in the offices? Who works in the Ship Channel? Who works in the refineries?

At least the district to the north (Woodlands up to Conroe) have representation that is more in line with the contributors who live there.
