Sharknado 2: Obama’s Second Term
I had to call it a night halfway through but the rip offs of other classic scenes was hilarious. The DVR should have captured it for later.
For some reason I didn’t zero in on Robert Hays. Haven’t thought about that name in years. Thought it was Bob Sagett.
Judd Hirsch as the taxi driver was a nice touch.
The science behind Sharknado makes the stuff in the GI Joe cartoons look like PH.d level intellect.
Loved it despite the efforts of some in here to turn this into just another political thread.
So glad they paid homage to Robert Hays and ‘Airplane.’ That was fantastic. And also to the Twilight Zone and William Shatner.
Gotta expect a few political jabs..... especially when the sharks took out the entire UN......
I always enjoyed Airplane. I text some of the lines to my brother just for laughs. “Early to bed, Early to rise...”
I caught that reference to the fish dinner and I cracked up.
They even did a pun for real. “Jumping the shark”. Hilarious.
All in all a great cheesy movie.
It was a great cheesy movie. Oh now I get it. judd Hirsch was in a tv series about taxis. I never saw that show. Tv deprived in my youth.
Taxi was one of the great sitcoms to me. ME-TV ran it and might depending on your area. I have some of the DVDs.
It is LOL. I enjoyed it very much with laughter. It reminded me of the old classic SciFi movies like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. As a kid it looked scarey to me until I saw a zipper line on the monster’s back LOL. Looking at them now, they may have been scarey to watch back then but now you just laugh to see how cheesy they are.
Just the name of it alone is hilarious,,,Sharknado 2 - The Second One. Like, yeah, we already knew it was the second one because of the 2. lol
Sure to be a cult classic like the first Sharknado and Plan 9 From Outer Space.
