The chances of additional events of such magnitude may be far greater than most people think." Carrington refers to a solar storm in 1859 that caused telegraph systems to fail around the world.
Singer warned that a man-made EMP attack would be even worse.

I posted this in spite of being told by a number of FReepers that there is no such thing as EMP.
I actually remember William F. Buckley warning of just that. I think it was way back in the 60s but might have been the 70s.
At the time he was thinking more of Communist Saboteurs but still the same idea.
As long as they get things back online by football season.

I'd much rather have the "reset" button hit by a natural event than by them. A natural event would be an equal-opportunity killer. The global elite will exempt themselves.

He’s probably wrong about that. Unless it’s a megaton size blast at 250 miles up and optimized for EMP... That’s pretty unlikely.
Judge Jeanine Pirro also thinks this is the biggest threat.
And somehow travels all over the northern hemisphere.

I was thinking more in terms of the savages whose profit told them that their moon god wanted things to stay as they were in the 7th century. Told them how to take a dump, dress, have sex, have many wives, and kill an infidel.

The danger from an EMP engineered by Barry Soetoro is orders of magnitude greater than from a natural event.
