The standard in a civil trial is "preponderance of the evidence" - and I it seems doubtful that a preponderance of the evidence shows that Ventura (a) did not get his ass beat by Kyle and (b) more importantly, had his earnngs power reduced by Kyle's account.

His earnings power declined because he is a self-important, lying, idiot windbag who has no credibility.

Bitch ass faggot SEAL-pretending wannabe asshole.

I seriously simply can't believe the utter lack of common sense and lack of sense of right and wrong on this board.

Kris Kyle told a blatant slanderous lie about a former soldier claiming that soldier believed other SEAL members deserve to die.

No matter what your opinion of Ventura is as a person if you are ok with this there is something seriously wrong with your judgement.

Foxnews, Megan Kelly and Bill O'rielly now look like complete fools. If they would have done 30 minutes worth of actual research on this case they would have known Ventura would win in court.

Local Dallas talk show host Chris Krok, who knew Chris Kyle personally just said today on his show he believed Jessie Ventura was wronged and the story was made up. He's right, and Kudos to him for stating the truth.

In Kyle’s own videotaped deposition he admitted that key parts of his story were false. I think a jury could reasonably conclude that all of it was false, especially since his witnesses not only contradicted each other but also Kyle.
