If you were ex-military would you SUE THE INNOCENT WIDOW OF A SEAL FOR ALL SHE’S GOT?
At several points, Ventura offered to drop the suit if Kyle and the publisher and later Kyle’s widow and the publisher would acknowledge that the story was not true. They refused.
First:
This story is a made up lie to sell a book
Second:
I would consider telling a lie on national television about a fellow soldier saying he thought other soldiers should die to be a pretty serious issue.
Third:
Someone had the idea to make this story up so how do you know she’s innocent? Maybe she knew it was a made up story. Who knows but one thing is certain and that is she stood to profit mightily off the destruction of an innocent former soldiers reputation.

Ventura has stated its the publishers insurance is who is financially on the hook for slander. Not sure of the accuracy but to me it does not matter.
Unless you were a cowardly piece of crap like Ventura - then you would, and maybe you would put some feathers in your hair to advertise your availability to other men, Ventura-style.<0>
