I stopped eating cereal decades ago. It’s not substantial enough by itself for me to make it to lunch or do any physical work. It’s too bulky if you add it to something that is worth eating. Cereal is a total waste as a food product.
I agree - I live in Battle Creek - Kelloggs and Post make their cereal here. I don’t buy any of it — so expensive and it just makes me hungrier after eating it. Much better to make my own granola that is much more substantial. There is a lot of air pollution here, too, but also a nice smell when they are baking the frosted flakes ;)
