"Oregon law allows victims of childhood sexual abuse to sue up until age 40, or within five years of when they realize the harm the abuse has caused... The suit says the plaintiff made the realization this year."

So: a kid gets sexually molested at the age of 12; nada for 40 years; then at age 52 suddenly "realizes" that the abuse harmed him; too late to bring criminal charges against the pervy pedophile; but not too late to sue the BSA for $5.3 million.

Does he even have to prove he was molested?
