Would be easier to upload photos to a post, like on FB for example. personally i struggle a lot to figure out the img src code.

I don’t want a rush Limbaugh like site that looks like his webmaster threw up all over the page.
Just maybe a device friendly form of the classic we love.
My utopian desires:
1. Have the text fit inside the iPhone screen and be able to be made large enough for people to read, and no need to scroll in 4 directions each line you read
2 get rid of the sidebar and just have a real, active, search feature
3. Make the posting format more up to date. If the search feature were functional you wouldn’t have to sit there while missiles are flying and find key words or which category to post under, or find some URL to use when there isn’t any. Gone are the days - or they should be - where everything considered “important” was from a news publication. URL field should be optional.

This is a discussion forum, for those that want to directly upload all manner of pictures get a Facebook account.
If you want to see what would happen to FR, look at all the crap on Facebook. I use it to keep up with pics of family members and kids. But 80% of my "friends" post jokes, videos, and inspirational/religious/political content....continuously. None of which is of interest to me. I would not like to see FR morph into that.
That’s odd. I have the most basic of phones and FR always loads within the margins of my screen, no sideways scrolling needed at all.
I’ve long since mastered image posting. It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Though I will concede, FR is kind of a hassle from an iPhone or tablet.
I long since mastered it too, but I don’t sit at a desk any more, and a lot of people are like me.

I’ve always thought they didn’t update it to discourage people from posting too many photos.
Don’t give up on the html, beebuster. If I can do it, you can, trust me. Just go to the sandbox links others have provided and practice.
I like to mess around with the sizes of images too. For instance, here is a photo of Weird Al Yankovich that you can print out and put in your wallet. Just tell your friends that he is a crazy uncle.
That is one advantage Android has over the iPhone.
I’ve tried safari, nope, chrome, nope, and another which I can’t remember which was a horrible browser for everything BUT FR.

You make a good point. Unless those who currently ride for free decide to step up and contribute something, we might eventually have to do without FR on tablets, phones, and everything else. Who wants that to happen?
