Bingo and don’t forget Obama simply ruining the Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. We should have had all twelve US military bases and stayed in Iraq for a half century to normalize them. They’d be a second front of liberty in the ME.
Good point. The Iraqi Gov’t was not blindly opposed to us being in Iraq: They were opposed to us being there & causing irritation and political problems for the gov’t, but not in sufficient capacity to crush troublemakers or reduce the need for Iraqi cooperation with Iran.
