Our county has a huge fire department. Many years ago they lowered the physical ability testing so that women could pass. They did. After about 5 years on the job they were all off work because of being hurt on the job in some way. They just don’t have the physical strength to do the job. None of the women except 2 lasted very long and those 2 promoted up the ladder so fast that they promoted out of the ranks that actually did the physical work.
Now there are still women that get hired but they just don’t last long.

I have a friend who calls herself a conservative feminist. She tells her daughters they can be anything they want to be.
