I guess we're going back to the eugenics movement that was so popular among the Fabian socialists and late 19th and early 20th century “progressives”. The difference is that the Greenie Environuts are running things. [big whoopee.]

One of the major differences between old eugenics and new eugenics:
* the possibility of genetic engineering, not just breeding
* the ability to control fertility without surgery (injectables), thus sterilizing people without explicitly doing such, AKA you never get permission for a baby
* genetic testing to weed out the unborn is more palatable than killing those you can see
