A Colorado Springs man woke up to find a strange woman cooking breakfast in his kitchen Wednesday morning.
...
Police say the woman got into the apartment through an unlocked door. She left before police arrived.
While officers were responding to the call, they received a report of a woman trying to break into a house in the 900 block of Hutchinson Dr.
The owner of the home detained the woman until police arrived.
Josefina Gonsalez-Nieves, 27, was arrested.

We lock our doors, but locks can be picked and doors broken in.The dogs know what to do with intruders, and frankly an intruder will do better dealing with the dogs than they will with me when I get there.

My family has a home on a lake in northern Indiana. It’s just down the road from the most popular bar/nightclub on the lake. A couple years ago, my brother and I woke up hearing noise from downstairs. We went down to find an extremely intoxicated young lady eating Pizza we left on the kitchen counter top.
Apparently, she had been a the bar, had a fight with her boyfriend, decided to walk home and made it as far as our house. She was visiting friends at the lake and wasn’t sure where their lake home was located and thought she had the right home.
She was quite good looking, but these things never happen to me when I’m young and foolish enough to leverage them. I ended up driving her home and lecturing her the whole way about making dangerous choices. That’s when I realized I had turned into my parents. Sigh........

Picked her up in a bar and had buyer’s remorse in the morning?

Hey, there are certain things for which a woman makes a man’s life wonderful. And one of those things is when she cooks breakfast, LOL.

That was what I was thinking.
If she did a good job and cleaned up after herself, I might have to hire her.

Man wakes up to find strange woman ...People are strange when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're down
When you're strange
Faces come out of the rain
When you're strange
No one remembers your name
When you're strange
When you're strange
When you're strange
