Here in the Czech Republic, companies that deal with bedbugs and other assorted hard-to-kill critters use a domestically manufactured cyanide-based pesticide called Urugan D2 (Hurricane).

Many of you back in the US would recognize it by it’s older German trade name: Zyklon-B.

It’s still made here, at a factory called Draslovka Kolín a.s., and by all accounts, it works like a charm. It’s what the pest-removal people recommend.

Yes...you read that right. Zyklon-B is still in use, though granted, under a different name.

Actually I knew that because I read it here on Free Republic. Is the factory near Usti nad Labem? Remember that place for good beer, good women, and that big castle along the river.
