Nah. He was traded for my favorite player, Rick Monday. He was a very good player, but .300 hitting first basemen are too common to be HoF material. He was a great player who spent a lot of his career on a bad team (Cubs), but not HoF material.

....I forgave Billy Buck along time ago!..U should too! My comment was intended to be a good natured joke; pining for what could have been.
I saw Billy Buck too many times at Chavez Ravine, during his Dodger years, to know him as anything but a guy that gave 100% all the time.
I never felt he had to be forgiven, it was one of those regrettable moments, his just came at a very inopportune time.
