Evidently the man was known to police for selling untaxed cigarettes, and he got upset when police approached him and began questioning him about that. His breaking up a fight earlier had nothing to do with it.

It seems to me like this is a case of the cops arresting a man on the charge of resisting arrest, if you know what I mean.

Cops went looking for trouble and they got it. Hope they lose their jobs. They had no probable cause to harass the guy. Talk yes, harass no.

I was a criminal justice major. I have known a fair number of cops. Most of them were good guys. Some of these cretins becoming cops now, I wouldn't hire to watch the hen house. (I'm 50, to give perspective).

The Cos defense is that Cigarettes were hazardous to his heath and can cause death.

It seems to me like this is a case of the cops arresting a man on the charge of resisting arrest, if you know what I mean.

It would be nice if the media reported whether the police had an arrest warrant.
