I recommend Linux Mint 17 KDE GUI version. It is easy to install. Once installed on a hard drive, you can duplicate that hard drive and move to just about any other computer and the OS works fine. In my case it automatically found my wireless system with one click. The GUI is easy to navigate and looks a lot like Windows XP but faster.
