Ok, ok...just outside Pawhuska....
Last time I watched, her husband and she were renovating an old, historic warehouse in Pawhuska as a store and some kind of deli....
Are you always this specific?
I like some of her approaches to food but some of it can be boring, IMO.
I also like the interaction that she has with her family. They all seem so nice. Is that the part that seems boring to you? I guess some of it wouldn’t be of interest to those who are watching for the cooking tips and recipes.
I don't think Pie Woman had anything to do with anything in the 70's.....
That said...they tend to get "special" treatment though.......
Money brings that...no different then..no different now.
I will say this...Worten has said he was drunk and wrong.
The City Manager needs to be arrested...IMO.
I know where they live...and have met them.
The building they've refurbed isn't nor was a warehouse...( Yeah...I like to be accurate...)
Best case I've heard is office's...above..and maybe a dinner / cafe restaurant below......
I dunno...I don't ask.
I know of quite a few decent and honest people in Pawhuska, OK....
Agreed - the AM was referring to “other” places with that name which is unlikely since it is very specific to the area and the tribe. I think the AM’s comment was intended as somewhat tongue-in-cheek, as was my follow-up.
Of course I'm a dumb-ass okie indian...........
I didn’t take your comment personally since it’s easy to overlook meanings when words are in print rather than spoken in person.
Never meant harm...
I am of American Indian blood...and I'm an Okie...
Been known to be a dumb-ass now and again too.
So I figure that covers it.....
FRegards,
Actually, I like that part too...except while she seems to really appreciate her husband’s butt in jeans, not a lot of touchy freely between the two.
I was referring to the food as being some what good but sometimes boring.
Just every now and then she cooks something that seems pretty pedestrian.
My opinion, FRiend...if you love it all, good for you!
Well, Osage, we live in a country that’s around 3000 miles wide (give or take a few hundred - specific enough for you?) so I’d say 25 miles near a town is pretty close by...what do you think their address says? Pawhuska or East Jepeepee, OK?
Wonderful you have met them...great.
So it’s technically NOT a warehouse...looked like one to me on TV.
And for someone who is SO specific, you don’t ask? Really? Wow....
Ha!!!
I use her recipes all the time.
