With Congressional approval ratings barely avoiding single digits, most Americans might want to pretend that Washington, D.C. doesn’t exist. But as reporter Justin Gray, who was flying to Washington found out, there is one TSA agent at Orlando International Airport who truly does not believe that D.C. is a real place.
The report from WFTV begins:
“It’s something most of us learned in elementary school – the USA has 50 states and the District of Columbia.”
Not so for the TSA agent in question. Gray relays a recent confusing exchange at the airport:
“I gave the TSA agent my D.C. driver’s license. After looking at it for a few seconds he demanded a passport. I didn’t have my passport so I asked, ‘Why did he need it?’ He said he didn’t recognize my ID. Now at that point I was a little confused, starting to realize what was going on and I said, ‘Do you not know what the District of Columbia is? Washington, D.C.? After some back and forth, it became clear – he didn’t.”
The TSA refused to respond to the reporter’s request for the number of complaints filed by passengers going through its security checkpoint at Orlando International.
It did, however, develop a plan to avoid further problems of this nature.
“TSA says because of what happened to me they’re now showing pictures of D.C. IDs to every TSA agent there in Orlando.”
Let’s hope they’re not receiving geography lessons from President Obama, who himself has traveled to 57 states, one of them named ‘Oihi.’
If we don’t clear out the Marxists running the government schools and allow SCHOOL CHOICE, we will continue to circle the drain!
I had to be careful reading the call letters .. WFTV .. especially considering the subject of the report.

DC is a land of priviledged elites with its own culture. It is a closed system.
The political denizens of DC have nothing but contempt for the rest of the “bumpkins” beyond the DC beltway.
There is an EASY way to do this.
The purpose of the local board of education is to represent the TAXPAYERs. Most of your family, friend, and neighbors don't know this. So EDUCATORS usually run for these positions and win.
So tell everyone you know to never, ever, ever vote an educator onto the local school board. Tell them why. It is like voting for the fox to guard the hen house.
When enough people get this, we will BEGIN to take our country back. Do it. It is easy. Most people will get it.
Wow. I really feel safe with mall cops in charge of airport security...
Some years back I had the misfortune to need to fly somewhere or another.
Two TSA agents had me open my carry-on for inspection.
The first agent, noting the package of bacon bits on top says, “Making a salad?”
Me, “Nahhh, that’s for terrorists”.
The second TSA agent gets a very blank look (actually, come to think of it, that wasn’t much of a change) and says in a very puzzled voice “What does bacon have to do with terrorists???”
He got an instant ‘you idiot’ look from both of us...
Good thing he wasn’t traveling to somewhere foreign sounding like New Mexico.
It’s been a few years since I’ve flown, but the last two or three times I carried a bag of Pork Rinds.
If my flight were to be taken over I’d have reenacted a John Belushi scene from “Animal House.”

I flew to DC a while back. The tsa goofs are from the local community. REAL professional.
