I will sleep well knowing that 500 years from now these people will be looked at like the people who imprisoned scientists for Heliocentrism Yeah...and they will be just emerging from a mini ice age...that lasted 500 years.
The suns magnetic field is declining...so by about 2020 there will be no sunspots...
Last time that happened there was a mini ice age that lasted from 1350 to 1750.

And they will claim that it was caused by “Global Warming” .. er.. “Climate Change”.
They have set up a non-falsifiable premise, “Climate Change”. No matter what happens, they can claim that they predicted it.

Great, there goes 10 meter DX. If there are very few sunspots and it quiets down, amateur radio might only be more useful at night on 160 and 80 meters.
