Believe it or not, I attended a seminar about this sport. So if you have to ask, .44 Long Colt blanks.
A co-worker does these competitions and travels quite a bit for them. I don’t know whether he goes this far away from OK, though.
Believe it or not, I used to live in Bemidji.
First I’ve seen this. Did you participate?
This is how we roll “Up Nort” ;-)
Ten balloons, two guns in quick-draw holsters. You don't have the time to reload.
Yeah, horse-poor, myself. Looks like fun, based on the photo in the story.
Hay involved ?
If there is, you better make certain ALL of your weapons are loaded! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny thing about the guy, I asked him how he cleans his weapons. He said that he soaks them in diesel fuel, and after wiping them off, lets them drip-dry.
Mail too. And smilin like a big dog
Yep. Single action .45’s.
Whatta hoot!

I’m in love.

A little music associated with Bemidji from a great show.

It’s good to be Up Nort in the summer. Mind if I borrow your lake house and do a little Pike fishin’?
I believe that pistol is real. Not toy.
Not many horses will let you shoot off of them.
There is a lot to say for revolvers and saddle guns.
And it is a rare woman who competes in this type of event.
