Costco Wholesale, the second-largest retailer in the United States, has apparently decided to remove all copies of Dinesh DSouzas bestselling book, America: Imagine a World Without Her, from its stores nationwide, WND reports. The decision to yank the book, if true, would coincide with the theatrical release of DSouzas new film of the same name last week.
Scott Losse, an inventory control specialist in the book department at the Costco Wholesales Issaquah, Washington, corporate office, reportedly confirmed that a nationwide pull-order was issued for DSouzas book. All copies are now reportedly required to be removed by July 15.
Costco has sold about 3,600 copies of America nationwide.
DSouza was apparently unaware of any order to remove his book from Costco shelves, saying, If true, this would be very odd.
Were in the process of finding out whats happening. I look forward to getting to the bottom of this and continuing the strong relationship my publisher and I have always had with Costco and their millions of shoppers, he told WND.
America takes aim at the progressive ideology, which DSouza claims shapes the policies of the Obama administration.
It is the Progressive view that is taught in our schools, that is preached by Hollywood, and that shapes the policies of the Obama administration. If America is a force for inequality and injustice in the world, its power deserves to be diminished; if traditional America is based on oppression and theft, then traditional America must be reformedand the federal government can do the reforming, the books description reads.
In America: Imagine a World without Her DSouza offers a passionate and sharply reasoned defense of America, knocking down every important accusation made by Progressives against our country, it adds.
As of Monday night, America was No. 51 on Amazons bestsellers list. Despite strong sales, the book was not featured in the New York Times bestsellers list. DSouza accused the newspaper of rigging its list.
Of course they are...
I don’t know why people are so surprised...
I wonder how the film is doing???
What if Costco was a small business bakery? .......snicker
I have gone to Barnes and Noble in the last two weeks to buy children's fiction books to read for school this year in Language Arts class and each time I get a slip with my receipt that says "Other books you might like" and on each one they list Hillary's book!!!! HOW does buying a children's books trigger her title???
I will not be renewing my membership. How long will it be before I have to cancel my Sam’s Club membership? I may have to move to Texas and pray for secession.
Well, it IS a fantasy, you know....
Kids love fantasies.....
LOL! I guess they think I’m a soccer mom!
I just attempted to contact the Costco general member service:
1-800-774-2678
and they are experience a large number of calls with a wait time of 14 minutes.
Angry conservatives are calling.
Not surprising...very few of Costco’s customers can read anyway.
I called Costco
their party line is the book has not sold ‘Up to their standards”
of course that is BS
and the person wouldn’t tell me how Hillary’s book has done
This is a publically traded company someone should be able to do a FOIA on them
“Email Costco...Tell them what you think:
A better approach is to buy a copy from Amazon and send the lefties in charge of Costco a copy of your receipt. Then, ask them if they want to explain the loss of business at a board meeting due to their political biases.
Good for you
I waited 16 mins
ask them for the exact numbers
and what their sctual ‘ standard is
we all should call
“”Other books you might like” and on each one they list Hillary’s book!!!! HOW does buying a children’s books trigger her title??? “
B&N is like most of the book stores which have gone belly up in the last decade or so.
They are liberal and pull stuff like this.
B&N like most book peddlers is in severe financial trouble. BS like this drives conservatives away and out of their stores.

libs are pretty child like in their reasoning...
[ I will not be renewing my membership. ]
No, go in there and demand a refund, even if it is pro-rated...
Say a yearly membership costs 50.00, and the year is half over, demand that they refund you 25.00 bucks

“The book, in this midterm election year, is a strong rebuttal of the progressive ideology behind President Obamas policies, which have been supported by Costco co-founder and director Jim Sinegal, a major Democrat donor and a speaker at the 2012 Democratic National Convention that nominated the president. A Washington Post political reporter has noted Obamas romance with the nations second-largest retailer.”
