Perhaps I biased toward my own sex but it always seemed to me that daughters are much more disrespectful than sons.
How does your experiences jibe with my observations?
My experience was so long ago, it probably doesn't jibe with today's youth. But a respectful daughter, in most cases, depends on having an active father in the home who expects, teaches, models and if necessary demands respect for himself and his wife. Likewise, male children need a father in order to learn respect for adults.
