I think one of the most stunning things here is the total acceptance of the woman’s initial attack, which carried significant hate crime overtones. This is being completely ignored.
Instead, the focus is on the response, which given the circumstances, seems to be entirely appropriate. But since the attacker was black, she can do no wrong so it’s Anthony who must be crucified in the court of public opinion.
