I have spent some time in MS and this is all very painful to watch.
I hope that Thad is forced to back down. If this keeps attention on Thad Cochran who can’t speak a clear sentence, I think it will hurt the Barbour machine.
Let us be realistic.
MAYBE Cochran is forced to take action on his own and resign, but that is a long shot.
MAYBE the Courts force another election, in which case, the SAME methods against McDaniel might be used against us all over again.
However, at this point, LET THE CHIPS FALL!
The hearing on the IRS stonewalling coming up later this month in Judge Reggie Walton’s court is encouraging as well.
Maybe the silent conspiracy between the Democrats and guys like Cochran against fundamentalist conservatives is finally coming out into the sun light.
I seem to recall that the figure was about 30,000 Democrats voted in the GOP primary for Cochran.
