I’ve got chilepetins growing. It’s my first time with then, I just it them and bought it. It has lots of little peppers on it. Saw a video of a guy eating them, he said they were fairly hot, hotter than habaneros.

Hello RD . . . the birds deposit Chile Petin seeds all over my 1 acre garden, they come up everywhere. I make a pepper sauce vinegar with them, Hubby loves to shake it on cabbage and broccoli. I also put a few in Chili and such.

Chili Vinegar:
1 clean malt vinegar bottle with a shaker spout.
About 1 inch of Chile Petins in bottle.
Pour hot white vinegar over peppers and fill to the top.
Let sit a couple of weeks and you’ve got a great hot vinegar sauce . . . Enjoy!

Love to Miss C. . . . we miss you guys.

Gather those small peppers when they are nice and red (before the birds get them) and dry them. They'll last forever in a mason jar.

Here's what you can do with them:
Put some chili's in a cruet and top off with white wine vinegar. Let it set for ~ 6 months. It's makes a real tasty salad topper.
Grind the red chili's into a powder and use in place of black pepper.
Grind the fresh green chili pepper's and add to a salsa for some zest.
