I don't disagree with you but I think we both know that sooner rather than later the forces of political correctness will win out and he's going to be forced to drop the Redskins name. I can think of no better way of sending a f*ck you message than to refuse to adopt any name at all. And I'd love to see him do that. Keep the colors. Keep the helmet with out the Indian on it. Keep everything as it is but refuse to give them a new name.
But if Dan finally caves in to PC, that will open the flood gates for ALL other Indian-style names of teams, places and businesses to be plagued with lawsuits.
Even other ‘offended’ minorities will get their day in court for whatever $$ they can get.
We have a national park and mountain range named ‘Grand Tetons’. Isn’t that ‘offensive’ to women?
