To: Norm Lenhart

I produced an indie CD a few years ago. In addition to i-tunes,which is the only one that pays fairly, the songs are included in just about all of the other music services, which only pay about a penny per download. Basically, I receive $10.00 per thousand downloads. The only reason I agreed to this is because the band needed the exposure. Last week our video on youtube came up on my husband’s iphone as a featured video. He was very surprised to see it. I don’t know how the new youtube rules will affect our videos. We’d like to stay on youtube. We have no record label, our CD is self-produced.

youtube screwed the content providers doing video game vids a while back suddenly jacking their ad cut 50%. That is where this is headed. Lots of current Youtube people are about to be involuntarily renegotiated.
