I regularly make Zupa Tuscani, which uses Italian sausage in chicken broth. The sausage I buy is by Isernio.
If they’d make pizza crust out of big ass hunks of ham, it would be a good start.

I used to like all Pizza, then, after being Vegan for a five year term, I became lactose intolerant. For the next 10 years I did not dare eat cheese in any form, including on pizzas. Now, for whatever reason, I can tolerate and enjoy cheese again, although I’m cautious. I think sausage pizza is simply not advertised enough to make it an appealing, available choice. I used to like Blondie’s sausage pizza. The right vendor with the right campaign could make it popular again. I don’t think Anchovy Pizza could ever become the first choice for more than say 20% of Pizza eaters. It’s an acquired taste.
My worst experiences eating pizza is being forced to eat slices with sausages on them. For me it’s anchovies, nothing, then pepperoni.
